At least with The IT Bureau’s Disaster Recovery Plan, we can recover your data and have you up and running again in a matter of hours.

In order to set this up, we’ll conduct an initial survey of your equipment, software and processes for your backup needs, highlighting areas of potential risk. We’ll recommend how to address those and provide you with a price to implement them. Then we’ll give you Business Continuity planning assistance, providing best practice policies to ensure you have the most appropriate processes in place to guard against a disaster. Our backup and recovery service is fast and effective in preserving your data so you know you can continue your day-to-day business, whatever the technology throws at you.

We are only able to backup data from areas on your machine that have been specified. In the event that you create a new directory and wish for that to be included in the backup service you will need to have included it using our client software.

 We expect that you have a data protection policy for the data you are storing with us. We will not take any responsibility for any libelous documents that are held on your behalf on our servers.

 Set Up

We charge a set up cost for each machine you want to be covered by our Disaster Recovery service. The set up cost covers the audit and report, a snapshot of the hard disk and storage for the period of the contract. The reason we take a snapshot of each disk is to ensure that you will receive a fast and efficient recovery in the event of a hard disk failure.

 Monthly Charge

There is no monthly charge for the Disaster Recovery service; you only pay for what you use.  To make best use of our service it can be combined with Lineal Store Backup service and the monthly cost covers regular scheduled backups of your data to the off-site server, access to your latest backup for viewing at the office or remotely. All your prior versions are available for retrieval should you need them.

 Recovery Cost

Rather than assume that you will require a full PC recovery each contract period, we will only charge you if you require a full disk recovery.
