Part of creating good internet security are the policies associated with using the internet and IT in general. Many companies either do not have IT policies or may not have trained staff about the potential hazards of downloading files from the internet or accessing unknown sites.  Policies should cover both the technology and the human interaction with it and be in clear and easily understood language.  Keeping the policies simple means that they are more likely to be understood and followed.
